Interferential is a therapeutic treatment to aid in the relief of pain and the promotion of soft tissue healing. Interferential Electro-Therapy is most often used for pain relief and to aid in reducing the swelling of soft tissues. Ligament sprains, muscle strains and spasms often respond to this treatment, helping to reduce atrophy and increase blood circulation.

Benefits of Interferential Therapy:

  • Pain relief
  • Decrease of muscle spasms
  • Decrease of inflammation
  • Accelerates the healing process

Intersegmental Traction

Intersegmental traction is a way of inducing passive motion into the spine for the purpose of stretching spinal joints increasing mobility.

Benefits of Intersegmental Traction:

  • Get nutrients from the circulation of fluids surrounding spinal joints
  • Increase elasticity in the spine
  • Restore motion into the vertebral joints

Hydrotherapy

Hydrotherapy is the use of water to revitalize, maintain, and restore health.

Benefits of Hydrotherapy:

  • Decreased muscle tension and increase range of motion
  • Increased oxygen absorption for energy
  • Decrease muscular toxins
  • Increase of endorphins
  • Decrease blood pressure

Cold Laser Therapy

Low Level Laser Therapy or “cold laser therapy” is on track to become one of the most important developments in life sciences since the discovery of penicillin.

Cold Laser dramatically reduces musculoskeletal pain and inflammation as well as promoting tissue repair wherever the laser beam is applied. This is not a heat treatment, the effects are photochemical. One of the primary actions is on mitochondrial production of ATP, therefore potentially affecting any eukaryotic cell in the body. In a nutshell, this causes the cells of the injured area to generate new, healthy cells to rapidly heal and repair.

Benefits of Cold Laser Therapy:

  • Reduces Inflammation
  • Repairs Sprains and Strains
  • Repairs Torn Tissue
  • Assists in the healing of Fractured Bones

Exercise Therapy

A form of chiropractic treatment used to help manage pain, rehabilitate damaged soft tissues, such as muscles, ligament, and tendons, and restore normal range of motion. Exercise therapy is designed to specifically treat various musculoskeletal, neurological and psychological conditions. he therapies prescribed by the chiropractor should be something enjoyable that the patient can do at home. Therapies, such as muscle stretching and strengthening, or cardio exercise, such as walking or swimming, are a few examples. Stretching- is done to restore/maintain the normal resting length of the involved tissues. Following normal range of motion, specific rehabilitative exercises are taught to the patient to strengthen weakened areas as cell as to stabilize mechanic and posture.  The patient is taught home exercises and stretches that are intended to help patients maintain adjustments longer periods of time, and improve mobility/flexibility.  These are customized for each patient’s condition and needs.

Thermography

Thermography is a safe, painless, and reliable test that measures the infrared heat emitted from the body’s surface; without the use of radiation.  Unlike many other tests, Thermography is unique in that it displays how the nervous system is functioning.  Since the health of the nervous system can determine the health of the body, this examination provides critical information which is vital to your care.
